Business Travel Accident coverage provides insurance protection against Accidental Death and Dismemberment to inter/national board members, headquarters staff, and select alumni volunteers of the related fraternal inter/national organizational entities, while such persons are traveling on behalf of the fraternal organization(s).
Coverage for Loss of Life, and Loss or Partial Loss of Limbs, Speech, Hearing or Sight is provided. Protection is provided only for business travel on behalf of the fraternity or sorority.
Travel must be directed by, or with knowledge and approval of, the fraternity or sorority governing boards, a board member, or the fraternity or sorority headquarters.
This coverage does not apply to travel for events at the local chapter or house corporation level but may include coverage for inter/national events such as conventions or leadership conferences.
