Fraternal Health and Safety Initiative

Making the Best of Your College Years

For college students who choose to join a fraternity or sorority, they likely want this membership to be the best possible experience. After all, fraternities and sororities were created to strengthen members through character development, academic excellence, service and philanthropy efforts, and social fun.

The Fraternal Health and Safety Initiative (FHSI) is a consortium designed to aid chapters of participating fraternities and sororities in achieving this high-quality experience. Favor & Company offers three unique, research-based curriculums focused on the dangerous behaviors often exhibited by college students.

FHSI members:

  • Represent over 125,000 collegiate members on more than 550 campuses
  • Believe in the betterment of men and women throughout our chapters to build lifelong leaders of society
  • Engage with a comprehensive curriculum focused on consistent identification, prevention and intervention strategies that tackle the most pressing and dangerous social issues on college campuses today:
    – alcohol and other drug abuse
    – sexual misconduct/assault
    – hazing
